The Merriweather Post Pavilion is the most sensational concert ground. This is the place where you can enjoy the musical specialties of artists like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and the Grateful Dead. The ground is an amphitheater par excellence and it has a fantastic position in the vast 40 acre of land. Just between Washington DC and Baltimore the ground exhibits the programs of talented artists from all corners of the world. You would just find your feet rocking normally on the beats of Roger Daltrey and Robert Plant. They are artists with true talents. When Who and Led Zeppel played on this ground during the era of 1970, there was not much to say about the seal and enthusiasm of the music lovers.
So, it’s time that you follow the Merriweather Post Pavilion Seating Chart and take some pleasure in the kind of world class music being played over here. Sitting and listening to songs here is just like playing with your iPod for a complete entertainment. What not you can enjoy at this concert ground – rock, rhythm and blues, jazz, alternative, classical, electronic, hip hop, pop and county. Thus, nothing remains in music to be played at this concert. You just sit and listen and feel so good with wonderful musical pieces.
For the performance of Billy Joe Armstrong the first 15 rows of the Merriweather Post Pavilion has been fantastically designed in order to create a mosh pit so that the Green Day’s American Idiot Tour can have a blast on stage. However, the reason was the luminary Tom Jones whose concert made way to the establishment of the large and extended sections of the pavilion. It was during the years of 1980s that the entire ground was covered with 700 loads of trucks. These were dirt being accumulated for the purpose of giving shape to this grand pavilion.
